When a loved one is struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, family members often feel hurt, neglected and confused. Rebuilding the family structure is vital to the client’s as well as each family member’s recovery.
For this reason, we bring families together every weekend to focus on the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of recovery. In a warm and highly supportive atmosphere, our Friends and Family Program provides an opportunity for loved ones to learn about the disease of addiction, begin to look at their own issues and find solutions for the entire family.
Led by an experienced therapist, the Family and Friends Program is held every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome. Lightly structured family education is offered, which includes:
- Group Counseling & Activities
- Educational Lectures & Videos
- Individual Family Sessions
- Open AA/NA Meeting
The goal of our Friends and Family Program is to help clients and families learn new strategies for changing their habits and behaviors. Every weekend features new topics and opportunities to give and receive support, and families are welcome to attend as often as they wish.
