Medically Assisted Detoxification

Azure Acres Recovery Center provides onsite drug and alcohol detoxification in a comfortable, home-like setting. Whether you need opiate detox, alcohol detox or another form of drug detoxification, our medical doctor will work with you based on your individual needs.
Our physician, who is certified in Addiction Medicine, is onsite three times per week to meet with you and monitor your progress during detox. We also have a physician on call 24 hours a day.

Detox typically lasts 3-10 days, depending on your medical and drug abuse history. Medications may be prescribed to help ease the cravings and withdrawal symptoms associated with certain drugs. We use the best addiction medicine has to offer and specialize in cutting-edge opiate detox techniques, including the use of buprenorphine  to ease the often painful effects of opiate detox.

Residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment
Stopping the use of drugs and alcohol is only the first step of addiction recovery. In order to develop the skills you’ll need to stay sober long-term, many people need the guidance, education and support that a residential drug rehab program provides.

In our residential drug and alcohol treatment program, you will live at our drug rehab facility in Northern California while receiving support and supervision from a caring staff that has experienced recovery in their own lives. Outpatient Day Treatment
Day treatment allows you to participate in our drug and alcohol rehab program in Northern California and return home every evening. Azure Acres also works closely with sober living environments to offer an option for living in a safe, supportive environment at affordable rates while attending our day treatment program.

Each day, you will come to our rehab facility to participate in lectures, counseling sessions and 12-Step meetings, and receive support from staff and other people in recovery. In the evening, you have the opportunity to practice the principles of recovery in your daily life.
Day treatment may be an option for you if:

• You do not need 24-hour support and supervision to stay sober
• You are continuing treatment after residential drug rehab or detox
• You need support as you transition back into the community

Intensive Outpatient Drug Treatment
Intensive outpatient addiction treatment allows you to begin recovery while continuing to work and fulfill other daily responsibilities. It also provides a supportive, therapeutic environment to transition out of residential drug rehabilitation.
